TED TAKASHI YASUDA
August 17, 1922 – June 24, 2024
Ted Takashi Yasuda departed us on June 24, 2024, at the age of 101 years old. He was a dad, grandpa, and great-grandfather who began his life in Turlock, California on August 17, 1922, as the fourth child out of six. His parents were Shingoro and Tsuchino Yasuda.
From June 1944 thru July 1946, Ted served in the 3rd Battalion Headquarters Company of the U.S. Army, 442nd Regimental Combat team, mainly in the Livorno, Italy area. He trained at Camp Blanding, Florida, and then went to LeHarve, France.
Ted graduated from the University of Washington in 1950 and worked for Boeing, until 1987. His wife, Margaret, predeceased him in 2009. He is survived by his children Roderick (Roxanne Marie) Yasuda, Beverly (Thomas) Ikeda, and Roxanne (Eric) Guion; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
