NISEI LUNCH FOR JULY 2024

On Friday, July 5th the Nisei Lunch hosted the 2024 Scholarship Awardees and their families to recognize their hard work and academic accomplishments. There were 4 winners this year, and many luncheon participants commented on how much they enjoyed reading their scholarship essay.

Friends of Minidoka along with community partners have been fighting for nearly three years to preserve the solemn and reflective cultural landscape of Minidoka National Historic Site from a massive commercial wind development.

I would like to extend a special thank you to Richard Kincaid for providing the salmon for the Nisei Lunch.  In years past, the Yoshimura family (Mutual Fish) had generously provided salmon for our August lunch, however with the closing of the store this year, we needed to find another source for our salmon.
