Happy New Year! We’ve started 2024 with some unforeseen changes in the Greater Seattle area, too, namely a new University of Washington football coach, departure of our longtime Seahawks head coach, and unusually frigid sub-20-degree weather.
This is my second to last commander’s column, as my term as commander ends on March 16th. Three years as Walt Tanimoto’s vice commander and 36 months as commander is volunteer time well spent. I’ve enjoyed nearly every minute of it, too. But it’s time to hand this over to a new soul!!! So, look for a proper thank you article in the March issue!
Please keep our troops and foreign service members foremost in your thoughts and prayers.
